Our Design Philosophy:

How many companies in the electronics industry have a design philosophy? Not many I suspect. Of those that do it probably goes something like this "I'll design a system that I like for your home." I am proud to say that we have three very specific design philosophies that we apply to every Connected Technologies system:

1. The system must be as simple to operate as the technology and clients budget allow.
2. The system must be as reliable as the technology and the installation environment allow.
3. The system must meet or exceed the client's expectations.

These philosophies are listed in the order they are applied. Here's our thinking; if you cannot turn on the system it doesn't matter how good it sounds or looks. If the system doesn't work because part if it is in the shop, once again it does not matter how good it sounds or looks. And, obviously, you should get at least as much as you pay for. We really enjoy trying to create a system that performs at a level greater than what it cost.

About The Experience:

You'll experience so much more as a Connected Technologies client. From the beginning you'll find that we listen better than anyone else. We act as a consultant first, not a retailer. We'll explain the technology in terms you'll understand, and provide you with honest input about the positives and negatives of each of the choices you make. You'll understand as much or as little about the systems we create as you wish. When it becomes time to design your system we will have learned enough from you to place our selves in your shoes, and design the system for your needs, your home, your budget. We will design a system that most correctly fits your needs, regardless of the products it requires. If we do not have the perfect product we will either get it for you, or allow you to acquire it while we install and program it.

Once we begin the project you'll receive our input on electrical requirements, room configuration, cabinet design, and the like. All of the cabinets and rooms you see in our portfolio were either partially or completely designed by our staff. In our project gallery you can view some of the room and cabinet drawings that we created.

As the only Southern Colorado electronics specialist with a dedicated project manager you'll find that our part of your project runs smoothly. Unfortunately most of the contractors forget to schedule the low voltage company until it is too late. Rather than delay your project we will schedule for him.

Our technicians are the most professional and best trained in the area. They are trained weekly in house, and attend any factory training available. Each year they attend the CEDIA Exposition and receive five days of intensive training. Many of our staff have achieved CEDIA's technician level I certification.

In The End:

Obviously you cannot offer the type of expertise, service, and products that Connected Technologies offers and be the least expensive. But I, along with a very long list of previous clients, believe that you do get what you pay for. I do commit to each of our clients to provide them with the finest design, products, and service.
